Edward Weller (1819–1884) was a prominent British engraver and cartographer who operated in London and was among the first to use lithography in map-making, significantly advancing the printing techniques of his field. Renowned for his detailed and artistically crafted steel plate–engraved maps, Weller contributed greatly to 19th-century geographical publishing and is particularly recognized for the clarity and accuracy of his work. He was also the nephew of map publisher Sidney Hall.
